LDA Received 76 Applications For High-Rise Projects In 4 Months
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has notified that it has received 76 applications seeking approvals for the construction of high-rise projects during the last four months.
However, the authority has yet to provide its sanction to any of these requests. Back in September, the authority had approved of the Zoning and Building Regulations 2019, in order to fulfil Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wish for Lahore to have a large number of high-rise buildings.
The maximum number of these applications were received for projects being planned in JoharTown (14), with Gulbgerg2 (7) and Gulberg3 (5) receiving the next highest number of applications.
